I-Chinese is an interactive and fun Chinese online learning platform that is strictly based on the MOE Syllabus. With more than 15 years experience of teaching Chinese language and a proven track record, all teaching materials are carefully researched and presented in an easy yet interactive and fun teaching sessions.
Led by Ms Bi Lan, who graduated with Masters of Arts in Chinese and Chinese Drama from Wuhan University. Being inspired by her parents who were also professors and had dedicated their lives to teaching, she seeks to make Chinese learning fun and lively!
Ms Bi Lan has spent her last 15 years in two prestige Chinese enrichment centres in Singapore, teaching K1 up to Secondary school students. Besides teaching, she was also responsible for ensuring quality teaching of the syllabus, training for teachers and did the final checks for syllabus materials.
She is highly sought amongst parents and students due to her passion for teaching the Chinese language, her distinct style of teaching, and going the extra mile for her students by working with both students and parents consistently.
All her PSLE students in the year 2019 achieved an A Grade for Chinese. Her students had also achieved “Most Improved Student in Chinese Subject” and “Good Progress Award for Chinese Language” awards.
It is Ms Bi Lan's hope to see her students acquire the love of the Chinese language and take this passion and skill with them, wherever they may be.

I-Chinese encourages students to participate in every component address across the platform during classes. It provides useful tools and interesting volunteering system to allow students with time in expressing themselves. Our Teachers are dedicated to impart meta cognitive skills to our students, recognition and trust will be build in the process of building one's foundation.
Primary 1 to Primary 2
Thematic role play, games, songs and reading of storybooks to improve word recognition and forming of proper structured sentences, basic understanding of comprehension, improving of writing skills and building confidence in using Chinese Language.
Primary 3 to Primary 4
Focusing on reading, understanding of passages, how to tackle different question type in comprehension, oral presentation practices, writing skills (Mind map/Blueprints) using words replacement to captivate readers and keeping it relevant to composition topics.
Primary 5 to Primary 6
PSLE preparation, drilling of oral presentation/listening skills, emphasize on comprehension techniques on how to score and avoiding common mistakes in actual exams, suggested responses for both comprehension and composition with model writing.
A great Teacher!! Bi Lao Shi is a patient, experience and vastly knowledge person. I can’t thank her enough for all the help that she gave to Caeden. Caeden has a strong Chinese foundation years with Bi Lao Shi and was doing extremely well in both CL and HCL in school and topped the level in Chinese too😊 She teaches the material in a way that is very easy to grasp. Dear Bi Lan Lao Shi, thank you for caring for Zhifeng. You gave me feedback about his progress from time to time, firm discipline him to stay focused in class, extended the class timing to ensure the lesson ended properly and audio n whatsapp him to encourage him and last minute tips before his Oral, LC and Paper 2. He had slowly gained confidence in Chinese Language. There is a great jump to A for Prelim and maintained the standard for PSLE thereafter.
